Last Friday, Stage Fort Park in Gloucester was alive with the sound of music and the warmth of community spirit, as the Gloucester Rotary Club celebrated its centennial anniversary and Gloucester celebrated it’s 400th birthday by hosting a community concert, with generous support from Seaside Legal, BNI Lighthouse, Ruth Pino (Remax 360), Heirloom Builders and others. This event is part of a series of wonderful community events we’ve had this summer and we’re loving it all! Ok, back to the concert- the evening featured performances by Captain Jack the Strangers, a Billy Joel tribute band, and opener Brandon Blatchford with the Wannabe Teenagers. The weather was perfect, the audio was pitch-perfect, and the audience was lively! Food vendors, including 5 Star PhreshPhood and Harbor Tap Trailer, served up delicious fare that had everyone’s taste buds dancing along with the music and we were there to capture the magic. As you browse through these beautiful photos on our website, we hope you enjoy reminiscing about the great time that was had at Stage Fort Park that evening. Cheers to Gloucester Rotary and all the sponsors for making this event a memorable one!
